Elizabeth Turner

Elizabeth Turner claims that even as a child she had three characteristics that eventually led to her career in writing: she was a chronic daydreamer, possessed an active imagination, and was a voracious reader. The stories inside of her head continued to evolve until they were so incredibly detailed and lengthy that she felt compelled to put them on paper. After years of trial and error, her dreams became a reality with the publication of her first book. Historical romances provide a rich background for the stories she loves to weave. In addition to being an author, Elizabeth juggles a career in the medical field. When people ask how she manages to handle two incredible challenging professions, she admits that though it is difficult, she could never stop writing. Creating a love story between two very special characters makes the struggle worthwhile.Elizabeth lives in Southeastern Michigan with her husband and one of her two grown children. When she is not writing, working, or sleeping, she is usually found with her nose stuck in a book. Going to the movies, travelling, and trying to master her golf swing, are amid her many passions.
