Such jobs are known as picking and packing – that is, when a customer order comes in, you must proceed to the sector where that book is shelved, remove and prepare it for shipment.

acres of Amazon fulfillment centers (this one’s in Kansas) and the volume of orders, much of the task is automated, you may be sure. Nevertheless, according to EW.com, “You have to be able to walk the equivalent of 10 to 15 miles a day. A day!”
